Botanico at The Garage presents 4 Hands Kitchen in association with Citibank, featuring chefs Thi Le from Anchovy (Melbourne) and Botanico’s very own resident chef Sujatha Asokan to prepare an exclusive menu that showcases the perfect blend of Southeast Asian and Australian flavours.

Meet the Chefs

Chef Sujatha

Sujatha grew up in a household filled with great pride and love for food. The exposure to a melting pot of food from different cultures and fond memories  ignited a passion in her to embark on a journey in pursuit of the culinary arts.

At Botanico, Sujatha embraces the contemporary-bistro cuisine and continues to challenge herself by melding her own experiences with heritage and culinary techniques to elevate seasonal produce at their freshest and best.

Chef Thi

Whilst Vietnamese by heritage, Thi’s style of food is framed by her childhood where she grew up in Sydney’s Western suburbs amongst food-living cultures (Vietnamese, Filipino, Lebanese and Turkish, to name a few). Today, Thi is the chef-owner at Anchovy, a restaurant on Bridge Road in Richmond, serving food that reflects her influences as an Asian-Australian.

Anchovy was awarded one Chef’s Hat in the most recent 2017 The Age Good Food Guide, This deftness with balance and flavours has allowed Anchovy to be recognised as a rising star in the Melbourne dining scene.
