When we were looking for a venue for our solemnization and wedding lunch, we immediately fell in love with Au Balcon at the Garage when we visited - it was cozy, already gorgeous as it is without any additional decor and the sheltered garden terrace allowed us to have an alfresco styled wedding without having to worry about the rain or being directly under the harsh sun. We'd like to thank Janet and Liwei who assisted with our questions leading up to the signing of the package, and sharing the available options and details for our planning and decision! We were later connected with Joe, our wedding coordinator, who helped us through all the details for the few months leading up to the wedding, including communications with the chef and rest of the Au Balcon team requests for our entire event (including solemnization, tea ceremony and the lunch banquet). She was extremely responsive, clear, and meticulous in her responses to our endless questions ❣️ On the day of the wedding, our printing vendor unfortunately missed out on delivering our wedding cert, but thanks to Joe's quick thinking and support, we managed to get a replacement wedding cert printed just in time right before the solemnization ceremony, and we think this deserves a special highlight 🥹! Planning a wedding is definitely no easy task, but we're absolutely grateful for Joe's support throughout! 🙆🏻‍♂🙆🏻‍♀

We just had our wedding at Au Balcon. Overall, we had an enjoyable and great time having our time here. Shanice, our wedding planner, was there throughout our entire wedding and guided us through our entire process. Shanice is really the best and she helped ensure our wedding went through very smoothly. For example, she ensured that our bride looked the best and prettiest throughout the day. Next example was she offered to pour us our tea during the tea ceremony, and our solemnisation too! Thanks alot Shanice 🙂 if you guys can request for a wedding planner, please request for Shanice! Au Balcon restaurant staff is also very courteous and proactive, very well done! 👍👍

We had the pleasure of working with Shanice and her team for our ROM event at Au Balcon at The Garage, and we couldn't be more grateful for all the help and support - always offering advice and guidance when needed. Shanice and her team truly knew what to do and provided us with valuable suggestions throughout the process. The planning couldn't have been easier with the helpful coordination templates and the in-house florist, which made everything come together seamlessly. What impressed us most was that Shanice stayed till the very end, making sure everything was wrapped up perfectly. We’d love to check for you! Popular dates, especially weekends, tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend reaching out early. Our friendly team can check availability and even hold a tentative date while you finalise your plans.

2.⁠ ⁠What is the minimum spending or minimum number of guests required?

Our packages are flexible — whether you’re planning an intimate solemnisation or a full celebration of up to 145 guests. There’s a minimum spend which our wedding specialists will share based on your preferred date and time.

3.⁠ ⁠What is the maximum capacity at il Giardino?

Depending on your celebration style, we can accommodate:

  • Banquet-style: Up to 145 guests (86 indoors, 59 outdoors)
  • Cocktail reception: Up to 200 guests

We can also host your solemnisation, lunch, and dinner all in one beautiful location.

Our wedding packages typically include:

  • A customised Western 4-course menu lovingly crafted by our chefs

Of course! You’re welcome to work with your preferred vendors. We also have a list of trusted partners who know our venue well if you’d like some recommendations.

Yes, we do. We completely understand that Singapore’s weather can be unpredictable! Our outdoor terrace is fully sheltered, so you and your guests can celebrate comfortably, rain or shine.

7.⁠ ⁠What are the payment, deposit, postponement, and cancellation policies?

A deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due on your wedding day. If you need to postpone, our team will gladly help you find a new date. All cancellation terms are clearly outlined in your contract for full transparency.

8.⁠ ⁠Do you cater to special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, halal, etc.)?

Absolutely! Our chefs can prepare vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other special meals with advance notice. While our kitchen isn’t halal-certified, we can arrange halal meals through trusted partners upon request.

9.⁠ ⁠Can we have a food tasting before confirming?

Yes! Menu tastings are available for confirmed wedding packages, so you can experience our dishes before making your final selections.

Our standard package includes 4 hours of event time for lunch, and 4.5 hours for dinner

Our standard end times are 2:00 PM for lunch and 10:30 PM for dinner.

Yes! Once your booking is confirmed, a dedicated wedding specialist will be assigned to you about two months before your big day. They’ll guide you through every step and ensure everything runs seamlessly.

Most couples secure their date anywhere from 6 to 18 months in advance, especially for popular weekend slots. But if you’re planning a shorter timeline, don’t worry — we’ll do our best to accommodate you and make it happen.

We completely understand that RSVPs can fluctuate. Our team will advise you on the minimum guaranteed number and help make any necessary adjustments closer to your wedding day.

Yes, parking is available at Cluny Park Gate Carpark, and we’re just steps away from Botanic Gardens MRT station for added convenience.

19.⁠ ⁠Do you offer accommodation packages for out-of-town guests?

While we don’t provide accommodation directly, we partner with nearby hotels such as St. Regis Hotel, Fullerton Hotel, and Fullerton Bay Hotel, and can extend our corporate rates for your guests.

20.⁠ ⁠Are pets allowed at the venue?

Yes, they are! Our outdoor terrace is pet-friendly, and we’re delighted to welcome your furry friends. To keep the environment comfortable for everyone, we allow up to two small to medium-sized pets per wedding celebration.
